The Three Cape Ladies was the inaugural Cape Blend ever to be bottled. It also served as the alluring wine of choice for James Bond in the 007 novel Carte Blanche, released in 2011. The 2017 vintage marked the reintroduction of Pinotage into the blend for the first time since 2014, representing a significant step towards reclaiming the heritage of this trailblazing wine.

The leading aromas are more somber than a Severus Snape montage, featuring delightful notes of blackberries, cherry compote, and rosemary. The palate is rich and textured, presenting bright red fruits, cigar box, and dark chocolate on the finish.

All components were fermented separately in tanks and subsequently matured in barrels for a duration of 20 months.
