Michel & Stephane Ogier Le Temps est Venu Blanc Cotes du Rhone AOP, Rhone Valley, France, 750mL

Situated in Ampuis, the Ogier family has a long-standing reputation and has been cultivating and selling grapes in the Northern Rhone for many years, primarily to Guigal and Chapoutier, until Michel Ogier began vinifying their own grapes in 1987. Stephane joined the family estate in 1997, collaborating with his father Michel, before assuming control in 2005. Since that time, he has established himself as a prominent figure in the Rhone, particularly known for his single-site Syrahs in his hometown of Cote Rotie.

Stephane pursued his studies in Beaune, and he incorporates this Burgundian methodology into his wines from the region and its terroirs. He engages with various lieux-dits, both within and outside the appellation, vinifying each one separately and utilizing oak sparingly to highlight the distinct characteristics of each style. He is widely recognized as a leading representative of the new generation in the Northern Rhône and continues to achieve remarkable success!

The “Le Temps Est Venu” (translated as “the time has come”) is produced from vines situated near the town of Visan in the southern Rhone, all approximately 20 years old. The grape blend (60% Grenache Blanc, 20% Roussanne, and 5% each of Marsanne, Viognier, Bourboulenc, and Clairette) imparts a diverse range of aromas and flavors.

ABV: 12%–15%
