Renowned, historic winery that makes Trento DOC In an effort to produce the best Italian sparkling wine in Trentino, Giulio Ferrari started Cantine Ferrari, a producer of Metodo Classico sparkling wines, in 1902. The Ferrari family carried on with its efforts to produce sparkling wines that might rival French Champagnes when the Lunelli family acquired the business in 1952.
Since 2021, Ferrari Trentodoc has been the official toast on the most recognizable podium in the world to commemorate the wins of the greatest Formula 1 champions. Their wines have gained international recognition. Lunelli’s sparkling wine has a Special Edition available to celebrate this achievement.
A unique Trentodoc that was made entirely of Chardonnay and aged for 36 months on the lees. The smells of peach, plum, pink grapefruit, and orange blossom fill the nose, and then there are traces of shortcrust pastry and glazed almond. The delicate citrus notes and long finish are accompanied by an exquisite, tight, and velvety perlage with subtle undertones of persistence. This is the ideal wine to have with light fish or seafood-based dishes, as an aperitif on a romantic evening, or for a special occasion.
