An ultra-premium tequila from Avion, whose silver tequila was voted ‘world’s best tasting tequila’ at the 2012 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. For this extra-añejo offering, Avion has matured their spirit in traditional oak barrels for 43 months and then filled it into petite oak barrels for one further month – during which point the barrels are rotated daily.
The result is a rich tequila with deep aromas of roasted agave and vanilla, complemented by light citrus. Flavors follow the aromas, but dried fruits, eucalyptus, and cinnamon are also present. Each bottle is hand-numbered and signed by Avion’s founder.
