Colterenzio Pinot Grigio, Alto Adige, Italy, 750mL

Vineyards located at elevations ranging from 350 to 400 meters are particularly well-suited for the cultivation of Pinot Grigio. The soils in these areas are characterized by a combination of gravel and sand, enriched with a significant amount of calcium carbonate. The microclimate is notably cool, exhibiting pronounced temperature variations between day and night.

The juice undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks, maintained at a stable temperature of 18°C. Following fermentation, the young wine matures on its fine lees for several months prior to bottling.

Tasting Note: The wine presents a pale straw yellow hue, accompanied by an appealing bouquet of citrus fruits, peach, and honeydew melon. It is medium-bodied, fruity, and straightforward on the palate, showcasing flavors of orchard fruits and a zesty acidity in the finish.

Food Pairing: This wine pairs excellently with fennel and orange salad, grilled sea bass, pasta dishes, marinated squid salad, and a variety of poultry preparations.
